Case Study - Texaco Fuel Station, Bearcross
Before
The Project
Texaco, Bearcross’s Manager, Maneesh, got in touch after being badly let down by a previous gardener. The outdoor area at Texaco was in a bad state with grass at chest height. There was a lot of rubbish and a large amount of weeds around the fuel station, including on the forecourt. Things got worse for Texaco when they started receiving complaints about their unsightly land, which was out of control. We were approached by Maneesh for what was essentially a rescue mission.
The Challenge
Given the growth was completely out of control, we started with a full clear out. WE then removed the weeds and cut all the lawned areas. Following this, we agreed a bespoke maintenance plan to visit once a fortnight during the warmer months and monthly during the autumn and winter months. The client had peace of mind about this package as it enabled them to stay on top of their gardening.
After
The Result
Having done a full clear out of all overgrown vegetation, we then mowed the grass with great care to make it both tidy and visually appealing for customers and passersby. Further to this, we strimmed the perimeters and removed a large section of brambles and Robinia to unveil much more space.
We tackled Texaco’s weed problem by doing a thorough de-weeding process of the shingle areas at the front of the forecourt, removing all rubbish, and mowing and strimming the grass verge. Our customer, Maneesh, was as delighted with the job as we were, and it was the start of a fantastic partnership. This started back in 2020 and we have been maintaining Texaco Bearcross petrol station ever since.
